linux tools useful for dealing with windows issues
use gpart (gnome partition editor )
to shrink boot partition
- first shrink the boot partition
- boot windows from this partition (maybe twice)
- go back to gpart and add or modify other partitions
use testdisk (partition scanner and disk recovery tool)
sudo apt-get install testdisk
sudo testdisk
to recover partition tables,
boot sector
mbr , etc
